U.S. Mine Developer Capitalizes on Permitting Push

In July 2025, Giant Mining Corp. accelerated its Majuba Hill copper-silver-gold project in Nevada, leveraging the U.S. government’s inclusion of copper in the FAST-41 permitting framework and new tariffs on imported copper. Backed by strong drilling results and AI-enhanced exploration tools, the company is moving swiftly through federal reviews while exploring public-private financing to support domestic copper supply chains. However, as permitting speeds up, securing a lasting social license—including community engagement and tribal consultation—is emerging as the decisive factor for long-term project viability.
